Daniel Scavone was born in Brooklyn, New York and grew up in Waldwick, New Jersey. He possesses BA, MBA and JD degrees. He currently teaches writing courses at Rutgers University. The Last Autumn is his first novel. He lives with his wife in Belle Mead, New Jersey.
